How it ensure your conference call goes smoothly:

• Establish the date and time of the call. 
• Give participants the toll-free access number and conference code a few days before the call and on the day of the call itself. Also remind them of the call’s time according to each participant’s time zone. (For example, 11 a.m. Pacific, 2 p.m. Eastern)
• At the time of the call, the moderator dials the toll-free access number, conference code and his or her 3-digit security code. (Found on wallet card.) It’s a good idea for the moderator to arrive on the call a few minutes early to welcome participants.
