International Conferencing

Monster Conferencing allows people from anywhere in the world to take part in your conferences.  

To add a participant outside the U.S. to a conference call, the participant may either call into the conference with the toll-based international access number.

Better yet, to take advantage of lower rates and create less dialing by the participant, the conference organizer may dial out to that person using the Enhanced Conferencing mode and its “Add Participant” option.

How to make your international conference go smoothly:

If the international party is calling in, the participant uses the international access number 619-331-2842 and at the voice prompt enter the conference access code. (Note that 619-331-2842 is a toll-based number and the international participant calling in will pay normal toll charges to a call to the U.S.)

To take advantage of including the international caller at a lower rate, moderators using enhanced conferencing log in here a few minutes before the call and on the “Start a Conference” section enter the access number, conference code and 3-digit security code.

After being connected, click on “Add a Participant” and follow prompts to call the international participant (using all international codes) and ask them to join in.

Note that the moderator/owner will be billed the standard rate per minute conference call rate for each participant, whether they are domestic or internationally based.
