How do I start a Link 48 Call?
To start a Link 48 Call, first dial the Toll free access number that was emailed with your receipt of purchase [ also found on the back of card if purchased in retail location]. Then when prompted enter your 7 digit Call Code and the 3 digit security code. You will hear an announcement that your call in now active.

What time can I schedule a call?
You can schedule a call at any desired time (24/7). Keep in mind the different time zones when inviting guests from different states.

How do I join a Link 48 Call
If you have been invited to join a Link 48 Call, simply dial the toll free 800 access number on the designated date and time that was provided to you by the call host. Then when prompted enter the 7 digit Call Code that was also provided.

What happens to guests who try to join a call that has not started?
Anyone invited to a Link 48 call will have the option to be placed in the waiting room until the host has started the Call or simply hang up and try back.

What is the Link 48 waiting room?
The Link 48 waiting room is setup where invited guests can wait for the call to begin and enjoy music.

How long will I be in the waiting room for?
An invited guest will remain in the waiting room until the call begins. Once the call begins, the guest will be automatically connected to the conference call. The maximum wait time is10 minutes, if the call does not begin you will be disconnected and instructed to try back at a later time.

Do I get charged for guests in the waiting room?
Yes, this will deduct minutes from your account balance.

Can I add a guest to a call that has already started?
To add an additional guest to a call already started the host can press *95, to enter a sidebar session. When instructed enter the destination number of the person you want to add to the call (area code and phone number). Then once the guest is on the phone Press *1 to exit the sidebar, the additional guest will be added to the call.

Can I add an International participant to a call that has already started?
Yes, to add a guest outside the U.S. to your call press *95, to enter a sidebar session. Then when instructed enter the destination number (Make sure and dial 011-country code-city code-phone number. For example, a call to London will look like, 001-44-871-9429110). Then once the guest is on the phone Press *1 to exit the sidebar, the additional guest will be added to the call.

If the host disconnects from the call will it end the conference?
Yes, if at any time the host is disconnected or hangs up, the call will be terminated.

Can a Call be locked once it’s started?
Yes, the host may lock a Call at any time by pressing *94. This will prevent any further guests from joining the call. The call can be unlocked by pressing *94 again.

Are Guests invited to a Link 48 Call charged anything for the call?
No, Link 48 never charges guests for joining a call. Provided that some fees may be imposed by local carriers, hotels, governments or other regulatory agencies for calls originating from pay phones or mobile devices.
